The Sports day is definitely a tradition and a big event where everyone gets involved and enjoys the day with their friends in the true sprit of sportsmanship.

                The 3rd Annual Sports Day of SCAD World School was held on 14th Feb, 2015 at 2:30 pm in the SCAD World School Sports complex. The chief quest, Thiru R. Suresh Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tirupur District graced the occasion.

                The day began with the Tamilthai Vazthu, followed by the prayer song by the school choir. The Guest of Honour Dr. P J Sebastian, professor, Faculty of general and adapted Physical Education and Yoga, Ramakrishna Mission, Vivekananda University, Coimbatore and the Chief Guest was honoured by our Principal. Mr. Frederick Sam and the AGM Mr. Durai Murgan. The Olympic and School flags were hoisted and the chief guest took the salute. This was followed by the march past and the lighting of the Olympic Torch by the students who had achieved laurels in various inter-school and national level games. The Sports Captain Vasantharaj took the oath and the Sports meets was declared open by our honourable Chief Guest Mr. R Suresh Kumar.

                The sun was shining brightly on SCAD World school and the students kept  cheering as the main events began.

                The mass drill, lesium display, yoga display and the pyramid formation was such spectacular show. The parents event the 100 mts. Race for the gents, saw many participants took part with great enthusiasm and it was a nail biting finish. The ladies too were equally enthusiastic with no one willing to give up their positions.

                The Presidential address by Dr. P J Sebastian was very inspirational and motivational. The annual sports report by Mr. Rajan, head of PE department has brought to the notice of all parents, that all students learn all games and participated in all activities conducted by the school.

                Though there were no records to be broken, its been a lot of hardwork and much more lots of fun. The Sports meet was declared closed, followed by the prize distribution ceremony vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
