School reopens G9,10, As & A Level
12 of September 2017, the most coveted day for the trail blazers, the leaders, the innovators, role models, and the chosen ones upholding the values of the school, finally arrived and the Investiture Ceremony was held at the Quadrangle with great enthusiasm and spirit.
On the glorious monsoon morning, amidst the crowds of excited students and respected teachers of Scad World School, assembled for the Investiture Ceremony, to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements that all students of the SCAD could be proud of.
The programme began with the School team accompanying the Guest-in-Chief , Dr. C.G. Ravichandran into the Quadrangle, followed by the newly appointed Student Council Members.>
The event began with a recitation from the Holy Bible. The Choir presented the prayer song.
Our students addressed the Welcome Speech and expressed their gratitude to the school for providing them an opportunity to imbibe in them the true qualities of leadership that can help them to blossom as global citizens and meet all challenges in their life.
Chief Guest for the day, Dr.Ravichandran and Academic Director, Ms.Shailaja Karanam invested the badges of office on the Head Boy – Pranavesh ; Head Girl – Harshini; The House Captains, House Prefects and other office bearers.
Ms. Shantini and Mr. Umashankar, from the Department of Physical Education, conducted the oath taking ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Ravichandran, congratulated the newly appointed Student Council Members and pepped them up to shoulder responsibility with actions and bring out positive results in all areas.
The newly appointed torch bearers of the school were reminded that they have not been appointed to be leaders within the boundaries of the school but to be great leaders of future around the globe. We promised to extend all support from the school to the students at any point to achieve ‘excellence with uniqueness’ in all areas leading to professional development. The school Head girl , proposed the vote of thanks. The programme came to a close with the National Anthem.
The school extends its best wishes to all the newly appointed Council Members.
