Parents Orientation Program

School organized Parents’ Orientation meeting on 17th March 2018. The purpose of the meeting was to acquaint the parents with various issues and misconception about the Cambridge Curriculum. The orientation was organized for the parents of the students from Kindergarten to Grade 2. Academic Director and Principal addressed the gathering and highlighted the features of the international examination board. Discussion about why their children should chose an international curriculum like Cambridge appeared very interesting as the parents listened on. Principal pointed out the approach of Cambridge teaching which practices pragmatic approach to the learning process. Explaining the teacher’s and learner’s attribute which Cambridge curriculum develops, he described how the SCAD World School is going to achieve them. Academic Director demonstrated how the idea of innovative learning takes place and how we plan to execute the strategy of innovative learning.

Parents raised questions and informed that they were quiet happy to know about Cambridge curriculum. Based on the feedback, it is gathered that most of the parents showed appreciation for the curriculum and expressed their approval to go on with it. They were convinced about the child being independent, responsible, innovative, reliable and confident-the five attributes of the children.

The meeting was followed by dinner.
