 2nd  South India Level Tennis Tournament

 A two-day 2nd SCAD open South India level Tennis tournament began at SCAD WORLD SCHOOL on Friday by 7 Am which was organized by the Department of Physical Education, SCAD WORLD SCHOOL. The tournament was inaugurated by SCAD IT College Principal Dr. C.G. Ravichandran. The Flag hoisting ceremony was held in which our national flag was hoisted by Mr.Man Singh subba, Principal SCAD WORLD SCHOOL, Palladam, the Olympic flag was hoisted by Ms.Shailaja Karanam, Academic director SCAD WORLD SCHOOL, Palladam and the school flag was hoisted by Dr. C.G. Ravichandran.

Tournament started in the presence of dignitaries, teachers and the students with the encouragement and the instructions about match rules and regulation by Physical education director cum Tennis coach Mr. V.Pandiarajan.

In this tournament around 250 students from 54 schools had participated. First match started around 6 am and successfully completed in the evening around 6 pm. 

Tennis match (Girls') in progress

The second day of tournament started on Saturday by 7 Am and completed by 9.30 pm. Around 9.45 pm prizes were distributed by the Academic director and Principal of SCAD world school to the winners. Two participants Pritika of grade 9 and Sridharshini from grade 10 Under 14 Girl’s doubles category.

  1st State level Swimming Competition

         1st  SCAD State level swimming competition began at SCAD WORLD SCHOOL on Friday by 7 Am which was organized by the Department of Physical Education, SCAD WORLD SCHOOL. Swimming Competition in progress

Competition started in the presence of dignitaries, teachers and the students with the encouragement and the instructions about match rules and regulation by Physical education director cum Swimming coach Mr. V.Pandiarajan.

Around 297 students from 49 schools  who came from Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka participated in this competition. Prize distribution was held around 4 pm in the evening. Mr. Muthusamy, DSP Palladam, Mr.Man Singh subba Principal and Ms Shailaja  Karanam, Academic director of SCAD WORLD SCHOOL, Dr .C.G.Ravichandran, Principal, SCAD IT College and Mr. Durai Murugan Assistant General Manager  SCAD Group of Institution, Palladam distributed the prizes to the winners.

                Chinmaya International residential school, Coimbatore: Winner team                                         CS Academy, Erode: Runner up team

Out of 14 participants from our school, 13 students got medals. Our school scored 82 points. Overall rolling trophy for the boys went to CS Academy, Erode with the point of 157. Overall rolling trophy for the Girl’s went to Chinmaya International residential school, Coimbatore with the point of 117.
