Lucky are those who have a chance to witness the real beauty of nature personally! The excitement of going on a hilly trip is always inevitable and looks forward. Our journey to Parambikulam dam was no different, which indeed, had been incredible and packed with fun, merry and laughter all through the way.
The view of nature was an exotic treat to our virtually bored eyes and senses when we witnessed a glimpse of Parambikulam forest. The exquisite charm of Mother Nature got us enthralled by its stunning jungle. The children’s thrills and jitters of climbing up the hill subsided when they engrossed in the process drinking up the breathtaking beauty of Nature.. It is most appropriate to say the place where we had visited was the shrine of Nature’s beauty. We witnessed the bevy of deer with their fawns, the parcel of wild hog with their farrows, a mother elephant with its calf, peacocks, peahens with their peachicks, red squirrels and a giant bison. Our guide who was very active explained the life cycle of wild animals whenever we spotted bevy of deer or a red squirrel.
The climate - drizzles and showers of Parambikulam was an additional bonus as the flowery drizzles of the clouds deluged us. The scrumptious lunch and snacks, which we brought along with us, tasted delicious when we served it with scoop full of love with our friends and children.
The impact of pollution free environment taught us very important lesson of conserving the wild and the environment around us. This is indeed a life lesson that we all learnt together without any inhibitions in our mind. The trip was a great success. Our organizers and the teachers planned the trip meticulously and carried away without any flaws. We all boarded down the buses with a content heart and a pretty smile lingered on faces, which enlighten the entire school. We have promised ourselves to love our surroundings and look after it which is indeed a ultimate aim of this trip.
