Our Teaching Methodologies
At SCAD World School, we prescribe to the best practices prescribed by the CIE, IPC, NCERT and other affiliating and accreditation bodies. Additionally, to make our teaching more child-centric, dynamic and user friendly we continuously absorb the very best from various teaching approaches that. Methodologies like Active Learning, CEL (Continuous Experiential Learning), Bloom's Taxonomy, The Jigsaw Method, DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) and Peer Teaching are some of the ways that are used to teach here.
As Active Learners, the students at our school are also collaborative learners. This gives the children the opportunity to engage in discussion, take responsibility for their own learning, and become critical thinkers.
To ensure that every child has clear and thorough understanding of concepts, the school holds Concept Review sessions at the end of the day.
At SCAD World School, the needs of every child is first identified then her/his learning ability is benchmarked. Following this, a program of study is specifically designed to focus on the child’s individual abilities.
We are also in the process of designing distinctive programmes to challenge our gifted and talented students who are achieving, or have the potential to achieve, at a level substantially beyond the rest of their peer group.
